Anne W. Burrell has worked as a chef, TV presenter in the US and a teacher at Institute of Culinary Education. Anne Burrell. She states "I was a huge Culinary Institute of America (CIA) student. I loved every minute of it." The Culinary Institute of America was a great opportunity to pursue a degree. After graduating from the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners, Chef Burrell was able to spend a whole year in Italy doing research and working at La Taverna del Lupo restaurant located in Umbria as well as La Bottega del 30 one Michelin star restaurant in Tuscany. In Italy, Chef Burrell developed an appreciation for and appreciation for Italian food. It made a huge influence on her perception of food. Burrell is a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that helps brighten the lives of struggling children. She also is an Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation celebrity advocate, where she has a mission to raise awareness for the condition of children with diabetes. She talks about her culinary passion and shares her knowledge of the culinary world when she travels throughout the US in both her roles as speaker and mentor. Throughout Anne's culinary journey she often says that she feels very fortunate to share my passion to others.
