Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine has a unique style that blends R&B with gospel, soul music, and R&B. Sunshine has appeared on Broadway, at the Democratic National Convention and in the European clubs and festivals. Sunshine can be described as Denise White. While she is a resident of Atlanta but she is in Chester Pennsylvania where she began music by performing and playing the piano in the church. After attending Spellman College, Atlanta she started her journey in music on Atlanta's R&B culture. The Fighting Temptations The single which featured her vocals"Stalk You the House, was only released in Japan. It's been remixed numerous times and is the mainstay of her live show. She has also contributed her voice to the soundtrack for The Fighting Temptations. She became the primary pianist for Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 for a position as Choral Director of Dreamgirls the stage show of Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was the subject of national media notice during the four shows at the 2008 Democratic National Convention and was later invited to sing during the inauguration of President Obama in 2009.
