Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty was born on the 1st of October, 1995, in Berkeley, California, USA. She is an actor well-known for Choices 2010 (also known as The Heart and Other Small Shapes), Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022), as well as The Heart and Other Small Shapes.

Asia Argento, born in Rome to a family which includes directors and actors, also pursued these careers. The Church, directed by Michele Soavi, was her debut role. Red Wood Pigeon was the subsequent year's film, in which Asia played Nanni's daughter. Close Friends was written by Michele Placido and was directed by her. It was at this point that Asia's career took off She shifted from girlish roles to more mature and complicated roles. Cannes International Film Festival received the movie well. In Trauma she worked for the first time alongside her father, the renowned Italian film director Dario Argento Her mother is one of Argento's favorite actresses, Daria Nicolodi, playing an obese girl who is in search of her parents' murderer. Asia was a part of Dario's Phantom of the Opera, the third film she co-directed together with her father. Two of them were Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. Co-starring with Carlo Verdone in Perdiamoci di perspective as Arianna an actress who is physically disabled. The complex and demanding character earned her an award: a David di Donatello Prize for the Best actor. In 1995 she co-starred with Michel Piccoli in Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio which again earned her a David di Donatello as well as an award of Grolla oro. Asia began directing short films in 1994. She also produced an episode of the film De Generazione. 1996 saw her directing a documentary alongside her father. 1998 she directed AbelAsia about the famous director Abel Ferrara. This film was awarded a prize at the Rome Film Festival. Asia's debut feature film as a director was Scarlet Diva, in which she was the main actress and wrote the screenplay. The film premiered in May 2000 across Italy as well as the rest of the world. It won an award during the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York.
